So there’s this sonnet contest at Eratosphere. And I try to keep up with it and fail miserably because I’m trying to prepare for a trip to Mississippi tomorrow. Then I pop in and see my latest poem, The Pop-Up Camper, was one of the entries! But I don’t see it listed. So I PM the boss and say, hey, can you just take my name off? Then someone posts directions on where to find it, and lo and behold there it is (it was a two-fer on another thread). Now I’m feeling really stupid because of said previous PM. It doesn’t help that it was virtually ignored either, lol. I think I’d have preferred they ‘tear it to pieces.”

There’s just no making me happy is there? :)
