Just back from the eye doctor for an exam that is years overdue, but I couldn’t put it off any longer (sliding the glasses down the nose and/or lifting them up was getting really old).  I haven’t had those drops in my eyes for probably twenty years.  I don’t remember this much difficulty afterward.  Not only am I sensitive to light, but I’m having trouble focusing and things aren’t so clear.  My pupils are still huge and look like my dog’s eyes when I take her to the vet, lol.  Hopefully it will pass soon.  I got a prescription and am going to go glasses shopping tomorrow.  There are a couple of good sales on, so I’ll check them out.  The styles nowadays are those short, wide rectangular things which I like but which aren’t conducive to bifocals.  I’m going to have enough of an adjustment as it is and should probably go with a bigger frame.  Why am I telling you all this?  Wait.  Who are you?

Oh, and I read yesterday’s post.  Sounds kind of hoity-toity but I sure don’t mean it to be.  Everyone’s at a different spot in their own journey through this world.  It’s kind of like hiking the Appalachian Trail.  You meet up with people along the way and perhaps hike a few miles, or days, or maybe even the entire thing with them.  I guess that’s what it boils down to, meeting people, walking a few miles together.  Speaking of which, I should go do that before dinner (okay maybe not a few miles but at least for fifteen minutes!!!).
